A raffle ticket template that numbers itself

Most raffle ticket templates give you one pretty ticket and leave the numbering to you: copy, paste, retype 001, 002, 003 a hundred times. This generator does the counting. Choose where the numbers start, how many tickets you need and how many digits to show, and every ticket is created in sequence.

When you turn on tear-off stubs, each stub gets exactly the same number as its ticket. The buyer keeps one half, you keep the other, and the draw is easy to check.

Numbered raffle tickets, 1 to 100 or 1 to 1,000

The default run is 100 tickets numbered 001 to 100, but you can start anywhere and make up to 2,000 in one go. Starting at 1001 or 5001 is handy when several sellers each get their own block of numbers.

Choose 1, 01, 001 or 0001 for the number format. If a number needs more digits than you chose, it is shown in full rather than cut off.

Print raffle tickets at home or at a copy shop

Pick 4, 6, 8 or 10 tickets per page. Eight per page gives you a roomy two-by-four grid on A4 or Letter. Small crop marks in the page margin show where to cut, and a dotted line marks where the stub tears off.

For best results print on light card (about 160–200 gsm) so the stubs hold up, and score or perforate along the dotted line before you tear.

Who uses it

School and PTA fundraisers, sports clubs, churches, community groups, pub quiz nights, office charity draws and neighbourhood events. If you need a stack of numbered tickets with a stub, this is the quickest way to make them.

Questions

How do I make raffle tickets with numbers?

Choose the Raffle Ticket type, fill in the title, prize, price and draw date, set the starting number and quantity, then download the PDF. The generator numbers every ticket in order and gives each stub the same number.

Can I add tear-off stubs?

Yes. Switch on Include tear-off stub and choose whether the stub has name, phone, email and address lines. A dotted perforation guide is drawn between the ticket and the stub.

How many raffle tickets fit on a page?

You can choose 4, 6, 8 or 10 tickets per page on either A4 or US Letter. With 100 tickets at 8 per page you get 13 pages, and the last page is only partly filled.

Can I start numbering from a number other than 1?

Yes. Set any starting number, for example 501 if another seller already has tickets 1 to 500. The number range is shown before you download.

How do I print at the right size?

Open the PDF and choose Actual size or 100% in the print dialog. Do not choose Fit to page or Shrink to fit, because that changes the ticket size and moves the cut guides. Choose the same paper size you picked here (A4 or US Letter).

Is it free, and do I need an account?

Yes, it is free and there is nothing to sign up for. Enter your details, download the PDF and print it. There is no watermark.

Are my ticket details uploaded anywhere?

No. Numbering, layout and the PDF are all created in your browser. What you type and any logo you add stay on your device.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. You can build the tickets and download the PDF on a phone. For printing, most people open the PDF on a computer or send it to a printer they have set up on their phone.
